Message to Industry

LT Technologies is proud to be an active participant in the growing global movement toward smarter uses of our natural resources, particularly our supply of clean water.  LT Technologies, like many other companies of all sizes, has communicated to various public- and private-sectors audiences about the wisdom and importance of enlightened approaches to water recycling and recovery. A recent summit (see article below) held in Detroit is a good example of the leadership that is driving this movement. Many of the key actions and initiatives discussed at the meeting are what LT Technologies for many years has been helping our customers to implement and achieve. In just the past year, we have assisted many companies with water recycling projects that met their green initiative goals while also creating positive bottom line impacts.  

Summit Looks At New Technologies To Save Natural Resources. The Detroit News (6/16, Lynch) reports, "Much of the discussion on natural resources and human consumption in the 21st century is a gloom and doom affair." But in a "session at the National Summit on Monday, there was reason for cautious optimism." Speakers during the a program on "Smart Infrastructure touched on practices in place around the world that are squeezing the most out of natural resources through new ways of thinking and new technologies." The success stories "can be found all over the globe." IBM, through a "small change in its chip manufacturing process, was able to save 20 million gallons of water used per year." And in Australia, a "region that lost 80 percent of its water supply over a decade was able to survive without major economic or employment impact by shifting its profile -- eliminating the area's large-scale water uses."
